Nanofoot Finland Oy – With You Every Step

Since its establishment in 2006, Nanofoot Finland Oy has become one of the leading solution suppliers in the field of diode laser testing and quality control. The company was founded in the heart of the ‘Photonics Valley’, Tampere, Finland where our premises are still located. Like several other laser industry companies, NF too was originally a spin-off from Optoelectronics Research Center of Tampere University of Technology.

In the early days, NF ‘s business objective was widely spread in different photonics areas. Back in 2009 a major strategic decision was made in order to set the business focus in diode laser testing solutions. Thanks to that decision, today NF is one of the few global state-of-the-art suppliers for high power diode laser burn-in/lifetime testing and characterization.

Management Team

Today NF employs 20 highly committed and enthusiastic specialists. The team is led by experienced laser industry professional, CEO Jari Sillanpää who has 20 years of solid experience from the laser industry. Petteri Österlund (Sales & Marketing), Dr. Esa Saarinen (Engineering), Ari Alitalo-Kukko (Operations) and Sami Tamminen (Projects) complete the management team.
